I'm surprised to see yours and Randy D's replies -- I thought I was the only person in the world who was not on the I-Love-Gaucamole-on-Everything Train.

Don’t you remember a few weeks ago on another question you answered about disliking guac?

I do remember posting about guacamole, yeah. But I guess I don't remember if anyone agreed with me.

I, too, do not like to ingest avocado (either sliced or made into guacamole).

I don't hate it the way I hate olives, but I find the texture off-putting (the flavor is mild enough I find it inoffensive).

YES! The texture is part of my problem, too! I put it in my mouth and grimaced immediately!
     Ha!

Before I tasted a thing, I said, "This feels terrible in my mouth!"

I agree with Welby. I tried it again a couple of years ago, still can't stand it.

    I'll say horseradish.

Sea urchin eggs.  I couldn't swallow it; I spit it out into my napkin.  I was out with my boss too.  The other employee there had to make a big funny deal out of it, of course.  Don't try them when you're out with your boss.

    That situation sounds awkward, yes!

I don't think I'd try them even if I were alone, ha!

I tried caviar once. mega barf.

BTW...I love avocados and make the world's best guac. Welby, I like horseradish, too. I eat it from the jar. It cleans out the sinuses.
